Crazy Awesome Street Fighter Animated Sphere Made With Blender

3D Artist OfNodesAndNoodles shared a series of fun spheres made with Blender's Super Bump add-on.

This incredible sphere featuring Street Fighter's animated Ken Masters and Ryu was made with Super Bump, OfNodesAndNoodles' custom one-click add-on for adding shadow-casting parallax occlusion to Blender Eevee materials.

The artist experimented with this tool to create a whole series of these curious spheres, for example, take a look at a Nintendo-themed one below:

Thanks to the animation, this sphere looks incredibly satisfying:

POMegranate is another OfNodesAndNoodles's take on parallax occlusion mapping, which uses "layers" to achieve the displacement effect and can produce a "sink" or "raise" effect where the displacement will appear to take place either below or above the level of the actual geometry.

Recently, the POMegranate add-on received an update with an adjustable layer count without deleting nodes, a bunch of custom PBR texture sets, and more. Get it here and have a look at this Geralt's parallax chain mail:
