Wanderson M. Pimenta's Autofocus and Camera Controller add-ons effectively replicate the look and feel of real-life camera footage.
3D Artist Wanderson M. Pimenta showed how scenes in Blender can appear photorealistic due to a combination of add-ons.
The artist demonstrated the use of their custom Autofocus add-on, which automatically adjusts the camera's focus based on what's in the center of the view, with the Camera Controller Addon. The latter generates lifelike camera movements, with realistic shakes in real-time without the need for tracking. These movements are generated using real-time data from your phone and can be directly recorded as keyframes in your animation.
The combined use of the tools allows for a real-time preview of how the scene will look with enabled depth of field. The preview scene was created using Eevee with RTX 4070 TI Super and features a mix of NVIDIA's and the creator's custom assets.
The artist shared the tools, so you can get the Autofocus and the Camera controller add-ons.
