Create Modular LEGO-Style Buildings With This Blender Tool

Tino Klein released BRiCKiTECT, a powerful and flexible building generator designed to work with custom or community-created Mecabricks-compatible LEGO assets.

LEGO enthusiasts are seriously incredible with their creativity, and one standout 3D Artist specializing in LEGO-style projects is Tino Klein, with whom we recently had the pleasure of chatting about Trouble in LEGO Town, his Blender-made entry for Chasm's Call that earned 5th place.

Although BRiCKiTECT was originally designed with LEGO buildings in mind, this add-on works with any building type or style. With just a few clicks, you can generate everything from regular buildings and corner structures to full streets or even entire city blocks.

Adjust building height, width, and depth in real-time using Geometry Nodes. Use seed values to quickly shuffle building variants, extras, lighting, and more, creating unique layouts with ease. Switch to low-poly previews, merge geometry, or hide details to keep your scene running smoothly and responsively. Instantly add stylized lighting with adjustable intensity, randomness, and color.

LEGO is famously protective of its brand and actively pursues legal action against unauthorized use, so this tool doesn't include official LEGO bricks or figures, it's just a procedural framework for creating modular building layouts. If you want to add building models to the generator, you'll need to download them separately from Mecabricks.

Purchase BRiCKiTECT here and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on InstagramTwitterLinkedInTelegramTikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
