Create Realistic Fabric Tears on Animated Meshes with This Blender Tool

Tear Painter by Nodes Interactive received updates.

3D Artist Piotr Popek of Nodes Interactive presented an update for his Tear Painter tool, which now allows for creating tears on animated/simulated meshes and more.

Tear Painter 1.2 lets you create realistic fabric rips on simulated garments or on rigged and animated characters, customizing their outfit and making them look more stylish and realistic. Apart from this, the tool now allows for controlling fabric thickness and rim loops. With bake nodes in Blender's Geometry Nodes, you will be able to smoothly playback the results in the viewport.
