Adrien Latran shared a tutorial and a custom tool for transforming any mesh into a cloud.
Earlier, we showed you a fascinating animation featuring a retro airplane and amazing procedural clouds created using Blender's Geometry Nodes by 3D Artist Adrien Latran. Recently, the artist shared a tutorial on crafting the clouds, following the original pipeline that he had created.
In the tutorial, Adrien Latran demonstrates how cloud meshes were generated and converted into volumes procedurally, and details the process of setting up lighting, rendering, and composition, also sharing extra tips and tricks. The creator used a custom Geometry Nodes tool, Cloud Creator, that allows for making clouds and converting any mesh into a cloud. The tool is available here.
