Creating Realistic-Looking Latte Art in Unity

Jamie Niman shared one more demo showcasing the upcoming Fluid FX Factory plug-in for Unity.

Technical Artist Jamie Niman, who back in November unveiled Fluid FX Factory, an awesome VFX tool for Unity that will enable you to set up fluid visual effects in both real-time and as pre-baked flipbooks, has recently shared one more awesome demo showcasing the upcoming plug-in's capabilities.

This time, the artist has demonstrated how the soon-to-be-released tool can be used to create realistic-looking latte art utilizing a "compute shader 2D fluid simulation, with the results displayed using a coffee shader".

According to the creator, the tool's core features are nearly complete, and it is set to be released in the near future via Unity Asset Store. We highly encourage you to follow Jamie on Twitter so as not to miss any future announcements.
