Crocotile 3D 2.0 Released

The update adds a tile size export option, the ability to customize the color of the 3D crosshair and hover wireframe, and improvements to skinning and rigging.

The tile-based 3D modeling app Crocotile 3D got updated. Version 2.0.0 adds multiple improvements, including ones to skinning and rigging: skinned meshes are now attached to the object to prevent confusion, bones have been moved to the Instance list, and Instances can now be attached/nested inside bones.

The update also adds a tile size export option, which is used if the Tile Spacing option is greater than 0. In addition, you can now customize the color of the 3D crosshair and hover wireframe in the Settings panel.

Other changes include multiple fixes. You can find the full list here

Crocotile 3D is an app for creating low poly models and scenes with pixel-art textures. You can select tiles directly from tilesets and place them into a scene to give them a third dimension. Its various tools allow editing the tiles and shaping your models.

The app is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux for $22.50 at the moment of writing. Get it from Steam or the official site.
