Cult of the Lamb Sales Hit 1 Million Copies

The game has managed to reach this significant milestone just a week after its release.

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Massive Monster have announced that their recent title, Cult of the Lamb, has sold over one million copies. The companies broke the news on Twitter thanking the players for their support.

"We are eternally grateful for your devotion and our team is committed to improving the game with tweaks, fixes and free major content updates," the tweet reads. "This is only the beginning as there's so much room for this Cult to grow!"

Cult of the Lamb managed to reach this significant milestone just a week after its launch. It was released on August 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

In case you missed this, Cult of the Lamb is a new rogue-like action-adventure game where players take on the role of a possessed lamb who was saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger. As a lamb, you'll have to repay your debt by building your own cult and spreading it around the world.

The game was well-received by players and has an average Metacritic score of 82 out of 100 according to critic reviews and 8 out of 10, according to website visitors.
