Curve Games and Runner Duck Reveal a New Game Badlands Crew

It will be the third installment in the Crew games franchise.

Curve Games and Runner Duck announced the third title "Badlands Crew" of their Crew games. For the first time in the series, players may now control a land vehicle as they drive and engage in combat on their way across the perilous Badlands in the wake of a horrific apocalypse.

Players will be able to customize their crew and micro-manage every move to drive through the dunes, repair the cars on the go, and attack other players in the meantime.

Jon Wingrove, Technical Director and Co-Founder of Runner Duck, said, "We've taken everything we've learned from Bomber Crew and Space Crew and are working on all new and improved features, which hugely increase the ways players can approach the game".

He added that the company finds the game "the most exciting and successful" in the franchise as they have updated vehicle combat and added a post-apocalyptic setting with environmental hazards such as giant sandworms, acid rain storms, lava flows, and more. Another updated feature is a dynamic and evolving campaign map, where players can pick their own unique path and campaign strategy to shift warlord influence throughout the campaign. Badlands Crew is set to launch in 2024, releasing first on Steam.
