CRITICAL REFLEX, the publisher of TANUKI: Pon's Summer, a cute, open-world simulation game with vibrant colors, has announced that the game will launch on PC and Xbox Game Pass later this year, along with a brand new trailer.
If you missed our first article about this game, TANUKI: Pon's Summer, developed by a three-member studio Denkiworks, tells an inspiring and heartwarming story. You play as Pon, an adorable, fluffy Tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog), doing a part-time job as a mailman. Pon would like to restore the shrine to its former glory by the end of this summer. To do so, you’ll need to earn some money and collect items.
Besides delivering packages, which are boosted with your BMX skills, you’ll also be engaging in relaxing activities through the various mini-games, such as rhythm games, fishing, baseball, sumo, and more. Interact and befriend locals and join a variety of events to win various rewards and items that can be used to build and upgrade the shrine.

Being the protagonist in the game, Pon has lots of attractive personality - besides being overly adorable, he is cool, enjoys dancing, and is sometimes a bit unlucky and discouraged but faithful… The following screenshots and clips help us learn more about him, and I bet the more we learn, the more we love him:
TANUKI: Pon's Summer will also be available on Nintendo Switch, in addition to PC and Xbox. We recommend following the developer on X/Twitter so you won't miss out on its release date announcement.
