While we're waiting for the Phantom Liberty expansion to come in 2023, version 1.6 adds new weapons, missions, and more.
Netflix's anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming to the streaming service on September 13, but you can also find the show's influence in the game starting from patch 1.6.
The update brings Cyberpunk 2077 new weapons that can be found based on their location in the anime, as well as weapons not connected to Edgerunners and some buffs. The new missions should also catch your attention and prolong the gameplay.
One of the most exciting features is transmog, which allows you to customize your outfits slot by slot without changing their stats. Ripperdocs now can also resculpt your character's face and body. If you're tired of your V's looks, in addition to these features, you'll find many new hairstyles.
The Photo Mode has new poses and the cat Nibbles. There's also a new mini game called Roach Race you can play using arcade machines located in Night City.
Cross-progression is now a thing in Cyberpunk 2077. Your latest saves will be automatically uploaded to the cloud so you can continue where you left off on other platforms.
There are more secrets for you to discover all over the city, however, this change isn't available on the previous generation of consoles.
The developers introduce REDmod in this patch – a set of modding tools, which only work on PC.
Finally, CD Projekt RED announced its long-awaited extension called Phantom Liberty – a spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 set in a new district of Night City. Seems like V takes an oath to the United States of America, and Johnny is not happy about it. The expansion is coming in 2023 to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
