Cyberpunk 2077' New Patch Added "Sad Keanu" Meme to the Game

It seems that the new patch 2.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't cease to surprise. Just a few days ago, we talked about the new metro system that CD Projekt Red finally integrated into the game and lots of other features that players had been asking for since the earliest days of the game. Today, we've found out that the developer has more in store for us.

Reddit user aks31 recently shared a screenshot of Johnny Silverhand sitting on the bench and eating a sandwich. Does it remind you of anything or anyone?

It seems that with the new update in Cyberpunk 2077, there is a chance for players to encounter a scene featuring Johnny, which is referencing Keanu Reeves.

You can find the scene while riding the metro system, but only if you choose not to use fast travel and instead sit and wait for added immersion. During the encounter, Johnny can be seen sitting on the opposite side of the metro carriage, holding a hot dog in his silver hand. "Johnny isn't sad, he's just very hungry," says the Reddit user, just like Keaunu once said.
