Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Gets a Gameplay Trailer

The developers have shared a look at the upcoming DLC's Dogtown and discussed the content that the expansion brings to the table.

During the Xbox Games Showcase Extended event, CD Projekt Red unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, a soon-to-be-released DLC to the studio's 2020 sci-fi action-adventure.

Captured on Xbox Series X in Performance Mode, the newly-unveiled trailer has shared a brief look at the expansion's Dogtown location and its inhabitants, demonstrated the location's version of the police, and sheds light on the story of Phantom Liberty. Furthermore, CDPR also discussed the location's black market, emphasizing that it will be the go-to place for obtaining the most powerful yet dangerous weapons and upgrades.

Earlier, it was also revealed that Phantom Liberty completely revamps many of Cyberpunk 2077's gameplay systems, overhauling the game's perks and skill trees, enhancing the AI and the police system, updating the UI, changing the difficulty curve and enemies, and more. According to CD Projekt Red's Creative Director Paweł Sasko, there are very few systems within the game that have not been modified or updated in some way by the upcoming DLC.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is coming on September 26, 2023, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can learn more about the upcoming expansion here.
