Yesterday, Rebel Wolves announced that Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, CD Projekt Red's veteran who worked on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 games, is joining the company as Creative Director.

The developer joined the team after more than two and a half years since leaving CDPR. During his time away, Tomaszkiewicz contributed to the upcoming League of Legends MMO at Riot Games.

In a press release, Tomaszkiewicz expressed his joy in reuniting with his brother and former colleagues from CDPR. Together, they are currently working on a large-scale dark fantasy RPG using Unreal Engine 5.

"There are so many fantastic RPGs out there today, however, I feel that there's not only enough space but also a hunger among players for more captivating stories," shared Tomaszkiewicz. "We aim to deliver an experience that will allow for a variety of choices and room for experimentation when replayed. Helping craft this experience with so many talented people will be my mission at Rebel Wolves, and I can't wait for everyone to see what the team has been up to for quite a while now."
