Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will be a new standalone story about revenge and redemption set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The second season will feature 10 episodes.
According to the creators, the second season will have a darker and heavier tone. The teams emphasized that the story will not be connected to the first season's protagonist, David Martinez.
"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is in production! It presents a new standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 – a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge," wrote the team. "When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?"
The company also revealed a poster for the series illustrated by Ichigo Kanno from Studio Trigger:
Unfortunately, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 does not have even an estimated release date yet, so stay tuned for updates.
