The game will also be available on PS4 and Xbox One on 25th May, 2018.
We don’t often write about new game announcements, but this one deserves some attention. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the return to Dark Souls games. Unfortunately, we don’t get a new title in the series. Instead, we’re getting a remaster of the first game (like Demon Souls never existed).
So on 25th of May, 2018 you’ll be able to enjoy Dark Souls Remaster on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This is the first time the game will actually be available in a portable format.
Experience the rich world of Dark Souls in upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and PC. Also, 1080p resolution with 30FPS is available when playing the game on Nintendo Switch with its TV mode. From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armour and magic spells to utilise for a truly unique playstyle.
Official Press Release
Will we get new content? Will we get all the DLC included? Like Artorias of the Abyss, maybe? We don’t know yet, but we sure hope the publisher will add some extra stuff. Because, I’ll be purchasing this game for the 3rd time already. Praise the Sun!
