Dead Space is Planned to be Released in Late 2022

That is, if everything goes according to EA's plan.

In case you missed the news, during the EA Play Live show, the company announced the next Dead Space game. The sci-fi survival horror classic will return with Motive Studios offering "a deeper and more immersive experience." The game will be powered by the Frostbite game engine for next-generation consoles. Dead Space will be launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

According to VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb, unknown sources connected to the project's development claim EA is planning to release the remake in late 2022. Grubb's report further notes the publisher intends to reveal more about the title before the end of this year; however, right now it is unclear what this reveal will be – a new trailer, gameplay footage, or something else entirely.

"We haven’t shared a release date for the game, and we don’t have any comment based on the current rumor and speculation. But we’re glad people are excited for the game," comments EA.
