3DCG Artist and a skilled Digital Chef known as Shimu, who previously treated us to some mouth-watering deep-fried donuts, has added another tasty item to their menu with a new simulation that might have you opening Uber Eats even if you're not hungry.
Sticking to the theme of deep-frying, has recreated the process of fries (or chips, for the blokes and lasses out there) sizzling in boiling oil in 3D, with the realism of the scene once again blurring the line between a digital animation and real-life footage. As always, Shimu utilized Blender to bring the sim to life, also offering a concise breakdown showing how the digital dish came together step by step:
