KeokeN Interactive, the developer behind Deliver Us The Moon and Deliver Us Mars, recently shared that they had to lay off all staff members. The decision came after the company failed to secure funding at the GDC 2024.

On Twitter, KeokeN CEO Koen Deetman and Managing Director Paul Deetman explained that despite exploring all avenues, they couldn't secure support from publishers, investors, or potential development partnerships at the event.

"Heartbroken, we've had to lay off our team at KeokeN because of nothing substantial materializing directly after our visit to GDC. We've unfortunately exhausted all our possible options for publishing, work for hire, and co-development," they stated.

In March 2024, the studio's CEO reached out to the community seeking help. Deetman mentioned the team's struggles in securing a publisher or investors for the past two years.
