Bungie announced the next chapter of Destiny 2 by releasing a CGI sci-fi trailer with a grand VFX and SFX. During the Livestream, the team shared that the development of the new trailer was made almost remotely due to the global pandemic. Bungie had made a 5-phase plan to make sure that all teams were safe and had everything they need to work from home and to keep the productivity at the same level.
The new chapter will take players to the new Empire on the icy moon of Jupiter where they will reveal the secrets and fight new enemies to save Europa, including the new raid of the Deep Stone Crypt. Alongside a new danger, guardians will find out about new mysterious power Statis coming from Darkness and learn how can it help them win the battle.
The new chapter is coming on September 22, 2020.
