Composer Sascha Dikiciyan, known as Sonic Mayhem, dropped a collection of music pieces created for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which didn't make it into the official release of the game.
The creator shared that the collection features cues for cinematics, trailers, in-game clubs, as well as drafts, ideas, and even demos that weren't included in a curated selection of the official soundtrack. The newly revealed album comprises unfinished and alternate versions of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's music.
"With this collection, you have direct access (in a way) to my audio hard drive. These audio files come directly off my original drive, complete with the authentic arrangement names I gave them at the time. Some are unmixed, unmastered, and even unfinished," Sascha writes.
The composer shared the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided tracks for free, but specified they are for personal listening only, and anyone wishing to use them in a video should first request permission.
Dikiciyan also asked the community to check out another cyberpunk title, Metal Eden, for which he also composed the soundtrack.
Before, Mark Cecere, a former Eidos-Montréal writer, shared original plot details prepared for the sequel to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in a podcast hosted by From Script to Life. Later, it was reported that the studio was trying to pitch the idea of a new game in the Deus Ex series to publishers, but the efforts didn't end in an agreement.
