Developer Recreates Bodycam Game Using Realistic First-Person Controller

Now you can make your own games with this mechanic.

The Bodycam game took the internet by storm when it first revealed its hyperrealistic visuals and an interesting first-person perspective. Despite its less-than-stellar rating on Steam, the idea is still exciting, so a developer known as Nixik decided to recreate one of its scenes using their own Realistic First Person Controller for Unreal Engine, a system for creating a lifelike camera movement on a character.

This is a customizable asset, Nixik says, where you can adjust smoothness, motion blur, vignette, and a lot more.

It features:

  • Smooth Camera Rotation
  • Camera Rotation Delay
  • Smooth Movement
  • 75 Customizations
  • 7 Realistic Camera Shakes
  • Bodycam Lens Effect
  • Interactive Vignette Bodycam Effect
  • Sharpness Effect
  • Advanced VHS Effect
  • Dynamic Crouching System
  • Running System

If you enjoy this idea, you should check out Alexandre "esankiy" Spindler's Unrecord, an upcoming game whose footage started the whole race for the concept.
