The most romantic story in game development.
Love conquers all, reads the famous quote. And indeed, it's true – a heartfelt story about these newly engaged game developers is yet another confirmation of these words. A game developer turned a routine testing session into an unforgettable proposal, surprising his girlfriend and colleague by popping the question right within the game.
The developers of Eat Pant Games, known for the upcoming cute platformer Teeto, were testing the multiplayer mode when they suddenly found themselves in a beautiful location lit with magical lanterns. Plates reading "Will you marry me?" appeared, followed by a little in-game task – to pick up the ring. After that, the joyful inscription popped up, reading, "You're engaged!"
The newly-minted bride seemed happy and cheerful right after she saw the proposal, as her in-game pink character hopped joyously all over the location. As shared by the developer, her reaction was "a mixture of shocked and happy with a sprinkle of "about damn time."
The developers shared that they would probably include this in the game, but it seems unclear what exactly would appear in the final version – the location or some other reference.

The game that the couple is creating is Teeto, an upcoming 3D platformer in which cute little characters fight shadowy monsters while absorbing the environment and acquiring its features. The game has interactive elements in the lobby, in which you can draw with markers on the board.
Teeto is still in development, and the release date isn't scheduled yet. Meanwhile, you can try the game's demo on Steam and visit the developers' Twitter page to keep up with the updates.
