Diablo IV Team Celebrated The Launch at Blizzard's Headquarters

The Diablo-themed cakes, the outside dining, and even the Lilith Statue were all shown on the Life at Blizzard Twitter account.

The Diablo IV development team celebrated the game's successful release. The Diablo-themed cakes, the outside dining, and even the Lilith Statue were all shown on the Life at Blizzard Twitter account.

The team creatively approached the preparation and ordered several cakes: each was connected to the theme of the game and dedicated to a separate class. At the Diablo IV launch celebration, the developers were treated to a blood-red velvet cake for the Barbarians and a Vanilla cake for Necromancers.

Diablo IV Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher shared a photo of what looked to be a stage. The team also had a chance to witness fights with burning swords and was also offered to get tattoos.

The Diablo IV Hardcore Lilith Statue was unveiled during the launch celebration. Although the names of the level 100 Hardcore players remain to be engraved on this monolith. President of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Ybarra has recently shared his new achievement: he reached level 100 in Diablo IV, two weeks after the launch. Blizzard said in a blog post that it is currently verifying all the players who made the claim, and will update—and presumably share the list—once the job is done.

This isn't the first massive sculpture to appear on the Blizzard campus — the famous orc statue was installed in 2007.
