ZA/UM has posted new job positions for an unannounced project.
ZA/UM
ZA/UM, a studio behind beloved RPG Disco Elysium, is working on a new unannounced game.
Recently, the studio announced several job positions for the new project. One of the vacancy descriptions mentions an "exciting unannounced project." Other announcements mention "narrative and artistic games" and working with Unity.
Before, ZA/UM worked on the projects that included a sequel and a spin-off to the player-favorite Disco Elysium, codenamed X7. Unfortunately, the spin-off was canceled. It was led by the original game's writer Argo Tuulik and was supposed to be "110% authentic, most hardcore Disco since Disco," as the game's lead writer Dora Klindžić described it.
Other projects that the studio had been developing included Y12, a canceled sequel to Disco Elysium; P1, a canceled sci-fi game led by the former Disco Elysium producer and shareholder Kaur Kender; M0, a smaller Elysium game for touchscreen devices, still in development; and C4, a new large-scale RPG the studio is focused on. The last title on this list seems to be the announced project that the studio is currently hiring for.
