Dollmare: A First-Person Horror Game Set in a Scary Doll Factory

A horror game created by a group of developers who are too scared to play other horror games.

Sometimes, to make a living, we have no choice over what kind of job to take. However, some jobs might literally bring nightmares to your life, like the one players have to do in Dollmare, a newly launched first-person horror.

As the only worker at the factory, your duties don’t sound hard to achieve: to check each doll coming out from the conveyor belt carefully to make sure it has a full body, like no missing legs or fingers, no speaking bad words, no movement, etc. Is it necessary to check if a doll can speak or move? It surely is, as I do notice a doll shaking its head when you decide to dispose of it — goosebump growing moment.

The developers of the game, Alex Grade, gonzeek, Oxeren are too scared to play other horror games, and that’s why they developed Dollmare. They promise no monster chase here, no screaming or jump scares. However, the uncertain feeling of anything is going to happen to you, yet without knowing what it is and when it arrives, will bring an extra layer of tension built with the toys in human beings' forms and their weird defects in the dark, eerie factory.

“No two players will experience the game the same way, ensuring that your journey is distinctly your own. Explore and uncover the factory's secrets, where each moment keeps you guessing what will happen next.” Before that, try to keep calm and not lose your job, your sanity, or your life.
