Easy-To-Use Modular Sims-Like Building System for Unity

Check out an intuitive building system in the works.

Roman Ponomarenko, an independent developer from Siberia, Russia, shared a look at the impressive MBS (Modular Building System) plugin he is developing for Unity. The tool uses asset packs to set up new walls, floors, roofs, and interiors. You will also be able to your own asset sets with custom models, textures, materials, and scripts.

The developer tries to develop it as intuitive as possible and it kind of looks like constructing homes in The Sims so far. You just need to add some basic models, and the plugin will automatically adapt them – it can change the corners of the walls and more.
