EG7 has plans for the potential release of the new EverQuest title, a hardcore MMO tentatively scheduled for 2028, along with the development of new games in the H1Z1 and MechWarrior franchises.

Amidst the recent wave of impressive game launches, the completion of the highly anticipated Microsoft-Activision Blizzard deal might have overshadowed another piece of news. During Enad Global 7's 2023 Capital Markets Day, which was held over a month ago, the CEO of Enad Global 7 Ji Ham revealed that a new Everquest MMO game is currently in the brainstorming stage. Ham emphasized the significance of Everquest as EG7's most important intellectual property, highlighting its influence in the MMORPG genre and its inspiration for Activision Blizzard's World of Warcraft.
However, the development of the new EverQuest game is still in its early stages. According to the outlined plan presented to investors, a planned investment of $30 million is scheduled to begin in 2025, with a target launch date set for 2028. Nevertheless, these dates are subject to change, and it remains uncertain whether the game has entered pre-production.
Fans of the EverQuest franchise were disappointed in the past. Around a decade ago, Daybreak (now owned by EG7) announced EverQuest Next, a next-generation MMORPG featuring both traditional quest-based gameplay and a worldbuilding tool called Landmark. Despite entering beta testing, development on EverQuest Next was ultimately halted in March 2016 due to the developers' inability to make the game enjoyable.

EG7 is not only focused on the release of the new EverQuest game but is also actively involved in the development of a new sandbox survival game for the H1Z1 franchise. Although this project is currently in the concept phase, it is expected to enter pre-production in the first half of 2024, aiming for a launch in 2026. Additionally, EG7 has acquired Piranha Games, which holds the license for MechWarrior from Microsoft. While MechWarrior 5: Clans is set to debut in 2024, a separate small-scale co-op multiplayer DLC is being planned for release in 2027, providing fans with a new and unique gaming experience within the MechWarrior universe.
