Embracer Group Will Release 25 AAA Games by 2026

The company's financial report revealed that Saber Interactive is working on seven AAA projects and Borderlands 3 sold 15 million copies.

Embracer Group's fiscal report reveals that the company has 25 AAA games in development that will be released by March 2026. Out of these 25, 7 will come from Saber Interactive.

"Currently, the Saber studios combined are working on seven AAA projects and numerous
smaller sized development projects with both internal and external publishers."

Overall, Embracer Group has 216 games in development.

The report also states that 2021's space combat game Chorus didn't meet management expectations, although it was well-received by fans and critics. What exceeded management expectations was Deep Rock Galactic, which had been downloaded over 9 million times.

Embracer Group also mentions Metro Exodus, which sold over 6 million copies.

The company calls Borderlands one of the revenue contributors during the quarter. In the period, the Borderlands franchise sold over 2 million copies, while Borderlands 3 passed 15 million copies sold.
