The setup is able to procedurally generate realistic-looking patches out of images.
Senior 3D Artist Anatoly Ponomarev has released Patches Generator, a Substance 3D Designer-powered procedural generator that can create embroidered patches out of images. Inspired by Eddy Khaou's similar tool created for Ghost Recon Wildlands, Patches Generator features several modes, allowing its user to either pick colors from an image or use the input image as an ID Map. What's more, you can also add a weave base by picking the needed color on your input image.
You can learn more and purchase the generator here and check out more of Anatoly's projects over here.
