Epic Games Acquires AQUIRIS, Establishes Epic Games Brasil
The new team of developers will focus on creating content and social experiences within Fortnite.
Epic Games has announced the acquisition of AQUIRIS, a game studio based in Brazil. This acquisition follows a previous investment made by Epic in AQUIRIS in early 2022. The AQUIRIS team will be the foundation of Epic Games Brasil, marking Epic's first studio in Latin America.
AQUIRIS is best known for its award-winning titles, such as Wonderbox and the Horizon Chase series. Headquartered in the city of Porto Alegre, AQUIRIS' team of developers will join Epic Games to create content and social experiences within Fortnite.
