According to recent research by BusinessFinancing.co.uk, Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite and Unreal Engine, is the world's most popular gaming brand in the vast majority of countries. The team revealed that Epic is number one in 141 countries generating a total of 4,716,375 global searches. They also revealed that Nintendo is top in 24 countries with 3,120,010 searches.
The research was based on using Google Keyword Planner to define the most-searched brand in every country. They studied about 190 countries to find out that Epic Games is the dominant gaming brand in 141 countries. Mobile gaming company Gameloft is a solid third-place contender followed by Atari and Activision.
One of the main reasons for this success is Fornite regularly appearing with its updates and licensed crossover content. There are also Epic Games Store and Unreal Engine that allows the company to dominate. You can find other results here.
