Manticore Games announced they closed $15 million in funding.
The new round is led by Epic Games and it is aimed at the progress of Core toward an endless gaming multiverse.
The team wants to unleash a new wave of creativity in games by lowering the barriers to game development and publishing. Basically, they want to become YouTube for game creation..

Built in Unreal Engine, Core exemplifies this future and goes one step further by providing the environment for anybody to create great multiplayer games, and a metaverse playground where players discover endless entertainment."
Previously, Manticore launched the platform for Creators, in its Alpha phase, and now it features aa number of game genres, styles and aesthetics: RPGs, adventure, MMOs, survival, shooters, merge three, puzzle, and more. Manticore has also previously launched an early $1 Million Creator Payouts Pilot Program to support a new creative economy for creators.
