Epic introduced the first release of the Niagara Examples Pack for Unreal Engine 5.7. The pack is available for free on Fab.
The collection, which might come in useful if you want to enhance your projects with real-time VFX, features more than 50 VFX Niagara systems. You can explore the effects as learning examples, draw inspiration, and use them in your projects, adapting the VFX to your creative needs.
The VFX include a wide range of various setups, such as explosions, bullet impacts, trails to sparks, fire, smoke, mist cards, and player and weapon buffs/debuffs. Apart from this, you can find Animation-Notify-based footstep effects, pings and markers, lightning, hit dissolves, and more.
The pack also includes a dedicated gallery gameplay level that you can open and play through. The level illustrates the use of each system. In addition, the collection features impact and footstep systems, which make use of Niagara Data Channels, and Animation Notify Blueprints.
