Twitter user glitch951, aka game developer Christoffer Bodegård, has shared footage from their WIP project, Esoteric Ebb, an isometric single-player cRPG inspired by Disco Elysium. The footage gives us a look at the deep dialogues and wide range of choices in the game.
Christoffer Bodegård has introduced the game as a “Disco-like, TTRPG-turned-CRPG set in a bizarre post-Arcanepunk fantasy setting.” Players take on the role of The Cleric, who is on an investigation, along with your goblin sidekick, into a mysterious explosion that happened days before an important election in Norvik. You have both the potential and intention to become the world’s worst cleric. “Roll dice in tense encounters. Become a cleric of legends or completely ruin the campaign.”

The encounters with NPCs in the game could be fun, as Esoteric Ebb features many bizarre characters, such as devils, drunk sphinxes, and mythological creatures that sell newspapers.
The developer has been sharing some amazing behind-the-scenes demos to keep the community updated about the development process. Check out some of the latest demos attached below or by visiting the game's Twitter page:
Esoteric Ebb is set to be “Coming soon” on Steam. If you enjoy its concept and design, don’t hesitate to add it to your wishlist.
