Ex-Nintendo PR Manager Says Switch 2 Won't Be Revealed Earlier Despite Leaks

One can respect the company's resolve.

PR Manager Krysta Yang, who worked at Nintendo from 2007 to 2022, shared her opinion on the company's actions following numerous leaks showcasing the next console titled Switch 2.

The former employee believes that accessory manufacturers' "wild" leaks of Switch 2's design won't affect Nintendo. According to her, the company has set a date and will stick to its plan.

Here's the original tweet:

Nintendo has only mentioned announcing the next console before April 1, 2025, and confirmed it will feature backward compatibility with the Switch.

The biggest leak about the device occurred during CES 2025: renders, a mock-up of the Switch 2, and a possible logo appeared online.

What do you think about the company's strategy? Should they showcase it already and stop the flow of leaks, or should they stick to the original plan? Well, I certainly respect the company's resolve.

In other Nintendo news, a new patent from the company surfaced online, hinting at the possibility of Nintendo Switch 2 having its own DLSS-style upscaling technology.
