Fading Skies is a fantasy indie game created by Distant Blue that combines features of classic 3D platformers and modern RPGs.
The game follows the story of a young woman named Ryn and her cat-sized dragon companion as they strive to stop the planet’s collapse. The little dragon is not just a cute pet, as it grants Ryn her powerful abilities. The game has a rich, complex storyline, and the character will have to face the shadows of her past and discover her identity, which is intertwined with the planet's fate.
The character acquires new magical powers and upgrades her skills while traveling the in-game world and uncovering its secrets. The open seamless world has "vibrant meadows, treacherous mountains, serene forests, and thundering canyons."
