Extreme Downhill Biking Game Descenders Will Receive a Sequel

It's been five years since Descenders, the well-received, fast-paced extreme downhill biking game that amassed over 15,000 positive reviews on Steam, was fully released. The Netherlands-based studio RageSquid, the creator of the title, has announced that Descenders Next, "the ultimate extreme sports game" and a sequel to the original, is in the works while they continue to update the original game.

Descenders has captivated players with its variety in tracks and tricks, challenging gameplay, and infinite replayability. The game's procedurally generated maps have also been a big hit. All these features will make their way into the sequel.

While the sequel swaps biking for snowboarding on snowy slopes and lush mountainous terrains, its core attraction remains untouched. Players can still revel in freestyle board controls and showcase their skills. Solo or multiplayer options remain available, along with some unique new content exclusive to the sequel.

A selection of brand-new, high-octane parks are available, each offering a unique gameplay. Customization options have also been uplifted to a higher level, allowing players to create their own characters with a variety of unique gear sets to choose from.
