An amazing work by CasheStache.
3D Artist Brian Connelly, also known as CasheStache, showcased this mesmerizing fairytale-like artwork featuring a fantasy deer in a magical forest, which was inspired by the artwork from Visual Development Artist Jocelin Carmes.
The 3D work was brought to life using a combination of Substance 3D Designer, Maya, Photoshop, SpeedTree, and Unreal Engine. Brian Connelly shared that he used Lumen for lighting, combined with the Exponential Height Fog, making the fog dense and using its albedo along with the ambient sky color to make it more purple. As for the deer's shader, the artist painted the base texture graphically and made the distortion textures he uses very stylized.
