Enjoy Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
A demo for Half-Life: Interlude, a fan-created mod by PegaXing and their team that shows what happened after Episode 2, has been released, allowing you to enjoy 30 minutes of gameplay.
This "atmospheric and narrative-driven experience set amidst the harsh Arctic expanse" is considered the unofficial Half-Life 2: Episode 3 based on the series writer Marc Laidlaw's short story, which fans consider to be a retelling of the canceled game.
Valve, the Interlude team
Half-Life: Interlude Demo offers new environments and familiar characters along with visible work with heaps of snow "meticulously placed by hand."
Audio logs will help you get immersed fully and understand this world better. "Thanks to the HEV suit's onboard cassette player, a feature originally designed by Black Mesa’s scientists to allow researchers to take vocal notes on the go, players will have the opportunity to uncover fragments of lore and personal insights from [Judith] Mossman’s crew."
While listening to the logs is not required, they can unveil some interesting details and secret stashes you can find.
