Soon, you'll be able to revisit Arroyo and Vault City, reimagined with modern-day graphics in a first-person remake of the legendary RPG.
The team behind Project Arroyo, a fan-made remake of Interplay's iconic Fallout 2, has recently provided a massive update on the state of the project and stirred excitement among Fallout fans by revealing a new teaser trailer for the upcoming remake.
Under development since at least 2019, Project Arroyo aims to reimagine the legendary RPG with Fallout 4 graphics and a first-person view, all while preserving the original game's locations, characters, story, and, most importantly, its atmosphere as best as possible.
The newly released trailer, embedded above, provided a sneak peek at the current-gen recreations of some of the game's locations, introduced a couple of the Wasteland's inhabitants, and showcased several combat animations and weapons that will be present in the remake.
