Fascinating Water Galaxy Created in Blender
The artist shared technical details of how it was created.
Take a look at this stunning 3D artwork by 3D Artist Maks Sobo, which depicts a mesmerizing water galaxy with gradual color transitions and transparent shades. The creator masterfully portrayed the liquid surface motion, crafting a surreal watercolor-like world.
To bring the space-inspired scene to life, the artist used Blender and explained that they used a plane with a bump and an ocean modifier, on which they've put three images of the Milky Way with an emission shader with different color ramps to have the layers. To make the glow on the walls, they put an invisible emission plane right under the water surface. In the comments to the Reddit post, Maks Sobo also shared a shader setup.
