Fields of Mistria Achieved Overwhelming Success Over Three Days

Fields of Mistria, a newly released farm sim developed by NPC Studio that has been available in early access since August 5, 2024, has already gained over 1.000 reviews on Steam, which are labeled as Overwhelmingly Positive.

Mistria is a serene village between woods and sea, where magic anomalies began after an earthquake. As a player, restore the town while enjoying the nice and friendly game world. "In this spiritual successor to the farm sim RPGs of the late 90s and onward, build the farm of your dreams as you discover magic, romance, and adventure," reads the description on Steam. The game setting and interface appear cozy, amiable, and cute, reminding players of Stardew Valley and anime.

The developers plan to keep the game in early access for about a year. Recently, they revealed the game's preliminary roadmap, sharing that the first major update will feature new characters, dialogue, and additional skills and rewards.
