Over a week ago, we discussed a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth that will be launched on February 29, 2024. Rebirth takes place after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake and serves as the second installment in a trilogy of remakes. It introduces real-time action gameplay that looks more impressive than ever before. Also, the creators promised enhanced features and an engaging narrative filled with significant plot twists and unexpected developments.
On September 24, the developer surprised fans with beautiful pictures of the world's regions in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Here they are Grasslands, Under Junon, Junon, and Gold Saucer.

The first region is the Grasslands. It's an expansive and lush landscape rich with mako. These sprawling plains are adorned with scattered outposts and hidden planetary fonts, waiting to be discovered. While adventure beckons beyond the swamplands, traversing them will require renting a chocobo from the nearby ranch.

The second region is Under Junon, "the former capital of the eponymous republic". Once a thriving port town, this place suffered a decline and destruction caused by Shinra. Now, it stands as a deserted fishing village, where the displaced citizens have sought shelter.

The third one is Junon. Once a symbol of hope and economic growth, the former capital city of the republic now lies dormant underwater. After being conquered, Shinra transformed the city into its second-largest outpost, a heavily fortified stronghold that includes an underwater reactor.

The last region is Gold Saucer: "A "gilded paradise" constructed over the Corel Desert, this Shinra-owned facility uses copious amounts of mako to power its state-of-the-art attractions. The park draws in tourists from around the world and keeps them entertained from dawn to dusk to dawn again," as the game creators described it.
Speaking of the game, the upcoming sequel to FF7 Remake will take up 150GB, 100GB are seated on one disk and 50GB on the other, but you won't have to switch between disks in the middle of the game, as Naoki Hamaguchi, the Game Director, explained.
