First Look at Dynamic Wrinkles in Reallusion's Character Creator and iClone

The feature will be coming to Character Creator 4.2 and iClone 8.2 updates.

Reallusion offered a sneak peek at the upcoming dynamic wrinkles feature coming to Character Creator and iClone meant to "greatly enhance the realism of your characters and give a more profound personality to any facial performance." Wrinkles will be formed automatically depending on the character's expression.

Character Creator users will see the system in the 4.2 update, while iClone will get it in 8.2. Expression wrinkles can be applied to any existing characters made in Character Creator 3.3+. They are triggered in real time by facial morphs, face keys, facial puppet, lipsync animation, and facial mocap.

You can adjust the wrinkle and texture strengths for diffuse, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion, and redness on the selected facial areas.

Reallusion didn't specify the release date for the feature but promised it will come soon.
