First Look at Zombie Mode in BODYCAM, Hyperrealistic Shooter Built in Unreal Engine 5

Reissad Studio decided to add zombies to their realistic shooter on PC, and the new mode looks scary.

Reissad Studio’s BODYCAM has already earned quite a reputation. Built by just two young developers in France, the game is currently in Early Access on Steam, positioning itself as an ultra-realistic multiplayer shooter powered by Unreal Engine 5.

Now, the team is preparing to introduce Zombie Mode – an update that will shift the experience from competitive gameplay to a more unsettling form of survival. The team shared a short announcement clip, offering a glimpse into how zombies will change the game.

Reissad Studio has confirmed that this update is just the start. The team shared that the Zombie Mode improvement and features will not end with the November update. The developers are currently prioritizing performance, polish, and player feedback, noting that they’re still not planning console or VR ports. The focus, for now, remains on refining what’s already there.

Zombie Mode will arrive in November as part of an ongoing Early Access roadmap, expanding the PC shooter. You can learn more about the game and add it to your list on Steam.
