Flappy Bird Recreated Entirely in Blender With Geometry Nodes

The developer has also shared the nodes used for this fantastic project.

Developer and Blender enthusiast Aldan Sanderson has recently unveiled an absolutely mind-blowing project titled Flappy Blend, a thorough recreation of the legendary mobile game Flappy Bird made entirely in Blender.

Powered by the software's Geometry Nodes toolset, Aldan's version of the game can hardly be distinguished from the original, featuring the same iconic visuals and similar gameplay. According to the developer, the goal of the project was to show how video games can be recreated in Blender.

Moreover, the author has also shared the nodes used for Flappy Blend, which are available for free via Aldan's Gumroad page. Please note that the setup requires the latest Blender snapshot, 3.5.0. Alpha, to run.
