Forza Horizon 6 Has Reached Over 300K Concurrent Players on Steam
It's one of the most played Steam games now.
Forza Horizon 6, a newly released open-world automobile sim, has already made its way to the top of the Steam charts with record-breaking audience figures, setting a new all-time concurrent players record for an Xbox Game Studios title on Steam.
According to SteamDB data, after the game's May 19 launch, Playground Games' racing sim entered the top 5 most-played games on Steam, alongside fan-favorite titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, and the recently released hit Bongo Cat.
The first weekend also proved very successful for the title: it reached the 300,000 concurrent players mark and has been maintaining a similar level since – as of writing, the 24-hour peak stands at over 283,000 players. For context, the previous game in the series, Forza Horizon 5, peaked at 81,096 players.
The sixth entry in the franchise invites players to explore Japan's diverse landscapes, blending rural and urban environments in stunning contrast. Players can cruise long roads in the open world, discover Japanese culture, and choose from 550 real-world cars, all accompanied by a soundtrack of music hits, featuring Babymetal and Linkin Park.
Forza Horizon 6 has already gained nearly 22,000 Steam reviews, earning a Very Positive rating. Players have been particularly praising the map's diversity and visual quality, the soundtrack, and the overall driving feel.
