On January 9, the developer behind Forza Motorsport, Turn 10, published a message to their community sharing their plans and reflecting on the feedback the company received from players.
According to the developer, they see that the car progression system in Forza Motorsport received mixed reviews. While some players were satisfied with it, others found it disappointing. So, the decision they'll make is to implement changes to the system that allow players to enjoy the game. As for now, Turn 10 hasn't shared the exact measures they'll take.
"Addressing this feedback is a top priority for the team going into 2024, however, it will take some time to properly evaluate options, make the necessary code changes, and thoroughly test those code changes," stated the developer.

In addition to addressing the progression system, Turn 10 will also focus on improving race regulations, so there will be fewer bugs that penalize players unfairly, providing a more enjoyable experience.
The developer also informs that they'll work on AI's behavior in the game, addressing complaints from players, such as abrupt slowdowns, unnecessary braking, and "following racing lines too strictly".
Other buggy aspects of the game will also change, with more details to be shared at a later time. To keep players informed, Turn 10 plans to release quarterly updates.
