Roland "STRiFE" Balogh's Actor I/O is out now.
You might remember a level scripting tool for Unreal Engine 5 inspired by Valve's Source Engine, a project we've been following closely through its development and beta release. It's now available, and you can try it out.
Actor I/O plug-in offers an input/output system similar to the logic in Valve's Source Engine. At its core, this is an event binding system that executes actions in response to triggered events. Leveraging Unreal Engine's C++ reflection system, it can respond to any dynamic delegate, whether from C++ or Blueprints, and call any function by name with parameters.
This makes it super handy for managing large projects, and the developer also welcomes feature requests to keep improving the plug-in.
